This Is A Standoff

As you may have noticed, things have been quiet with us since the fall, and apologies are due, as we have been holding onto this bit of news for a few months now. To make it short and sweet, This Is A Standoff is done. Touring has become harder and harder, and everyone's lives have been heading in different directions for quite some time now.

We set out to be a part-time band, but somehow we ended up playing 322 shows in over 25 countries across 4 continents. Along the way, we were lucky enough make amazing friends in all corners of the world and play along side some of our favourite bands.

It's been an amazing and surreal five years, and we owe endless thank you's to every single one of you that helped us out along the way by checking out a record, attending or promoting a show, letting us crash on your floor, giving us food, or simply taking five minutes to come chat with us.

It's been swell, friends... Thanks for everything.

12.21.2011 Deals and Steals at Shop Standoff

Hello all! Our online store has been restocked with whatever we had leftover from tour.. Unfortunately no larges, but a somewhat decent selection of Mediums and XLarges.. so for you large shirt wearing people, either load up on turkey this Christmas season, or hit the treadmill.

All shirts are now a bit cheaper, and there's even one there for $3.. I think we have 3 of those left.. If you can squeeze into a small, please grab one.. Otherwise Nick's going to start using them to clean the toilets at his studio. You've been warned.

You can get your hands on a physical copy of the EP for only $6 now. So if you haven't, or if you torrented it (you dirty* thief), then please pick up a copy. It looks nice, it sounds nice, and if your coffee table is wobbling, it will prop it up nicely.

11.05.2011 Whistler show cancelled...

Hey all!
Tonight we are wrapping up 9 weeks on the road at the Media Club in Vancouver with our pals in Party At The Moontower.

Whistler friends.. We're sorry, but it turns out our show tomorrow night has been cancelled due to venue issues. If you can make it down in time, come hang in Vancouver with us for one last party!
